CanZona sing music for summer pleasure, followed by tea and cake. Retiring collection for Church funds All welcome.

Kettle’s On at Winsley Church Hall

Kettle’s On started several years ago.  Meeting on a Wednesday morning 10am-12pm at St Nicholas’ Church Hall, twice a month it is open to everyone and involves coffee, cake and chat.  It is popular and well attended, particularly by people who are retired.

During a Holy Communion Service we listen and reflect on a Bible passage, pray together and share bread and wine. We stay for tea and coffee after the service.

Sunday 3rd August - 4pm
Family Teatime Service at St Nicholas’ Church

Our Teatime Service is for all the family. This involves creativity, noise and a lot of fun! We are conscious that all children are different (as are all adults) and so there is no pressure on anyone to get more involved than they wish to be. For our August service, please bring along picnic as we will be in the churchyard.

Coffee & Company at Christ Church

Coffee & Company meet at Christ Church on Wednesday (except the last Wednesday of the month when there is Holy Communion in church) at 10:30am. Coffee and good company, knitting optional!

Refresh at St Nicholas’ Church

Refresh is an informal, family friendly, café-style service which starts with refreshments and includes a short time of sung worship, discussion on a different topic each week and prayers. At St Nicholas’ Church, Refresh is held in the church hall and starts at 09.45am with coffee and croissants.

Compline at St Nicholas’ Church

Compline is a short service of night prayer. The ancient office of Night Prayer (Compline) derives its name from a Latin word meaning 'completion' (completorium). It is above all a service of quietness and reflection before rest at the end of the day.
